The Gateway of India

Mumbai also has its beautiful landmarks and picturesque views. The Gateway of India is a landmark not only in Mumbai but in the entire country. It is located on the southern part of the city, The gateway overlooks the beautiful Arabian Sea. It was constructed to memorialize King George V and Queen Mary's visit to India in 1911. It was designed by George Wittet and took around 13 years to complete the project. The monument was inaugurated on December 4th, 1924. 

Shivaji Park

Shivaji Park is one of the largest parks in Mumbai, Shivaji Park is situated in Dadar.  It is a popular spot for political and social meetings. This park was established by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation in 1925, The park has a popular statue of Shivaji leading the way with his one arm outstretched. This park is also famous among cricket lovers and has been a training ground for many famous international cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar.

Aska Beach

Aska Beach is about 27 kilometres from Mumbai city. Aksa Beach is a wonderful place to visit. The waterfront has the base of the Indian navy. The beautiful weather, gentle sea breeze and picturesque environment of this beach make it a perfect place for a memorable beach side vacation.

Flora Fountain

Flora Fountain is a famous landmark that was built in 1864. It has been named after Flora – Roman Goddess of Flowers. In 1960, the Flora Fountain was renamed as Hutatma Chowk (Martyr's Square) in the memory of 105 people who sacrificed their lives while demanding a separate Maharashtrian state. 

This fountain stands where Bombay Fort's original Churchgate once stood When the sun sets,  the Flora Fountain is illuminated with bright lights that present a fabulous view.
